This offer includes a standalone unlimited broadband connection, available as a promotional plan across India, excluding the Andaman Nicobar telecom circle.
Key Features of the BSNL Free Broadband Plan
- Bandwidth: The plan offers a download speed of up to 10 Mbps until 5 GB per day, after which the speed reduces to 1 Mbps.
- Applicability: Available to all landline users across India, except in the Andaman Nicobar Circle.
- Charges: No fixed monthly or yearly charges apply during the promotional period.
- Data Limit: Unlimited internet with a Fair Usage Policy (FUP) limit.
- Email: One email account with 1 GB space is included.
- Static IP: Not applicable.
- Landline Charges: Voice calls are charged as per the subscribed landline plan.
Terms and Conditions
- Promotional Period: The free trial broadband connection was available for registration until August 31, 2019.
- Installation and Security Charges: Waived during the promotional period.
- Customer Premise Equipment (CPE): Customers must own their modem.
- Post-Promotional Period: Customers are migrated to regular broadband plans after the promotional period ends.
- Migration to Regular Plans: Customers can choose a regular plan, or they will be automatically migrated to the BSNL CUL plan if no choice is made.
Subscription and Migration
- Subscription Methods: Available through customer service centers, BSNL franchisees, retailers, or by calling the toll-free number 1800 345 1500.
- Eligibility: Only for new or existing landline users without broadband service.
- Re-subscription: Customers who previously availed and disconnected the free offer can re-subscribe during the promotional period.
- Migration to Other Plans: Possible if requested before the end of the free period; otherwise, automatic migration to the BB CUL plan occurs.
Additional Information
- Landline Calls: Charged as per the subscribed landline plan.
- Broadband Deposit: No deposit during the free period, but a security deposit may be included in the postpaid bill after migration to a regular plan.
