What happens if BSNL Recharge done twice on prepaid mobile?

Do you know what happens if we recharge twice for prepaid mobile voice / data or SMS BSNL for a prepaid mobile number, check the result now and what to do if recharged wrongly and how to initiate a refund or reversal for BSNL recharge?

At any time you can recharge your prepaid mobile in online or offline for extension or migration to one another, but if same BSNL voucher done twice means, the number will activates with only one, i.e. the voucher of BSNL which is activated finally may comes into effect for activation.

Ex:- If a BSNL customer mobile number successfully recharged with Rs.1699 plan at 10.50AM through a retailer CTOPUP, but at 10.51AM, his son activates BSNL 666 plan through online portal, then the latest activated plan sixer will comes into effect.

  1. Why BSNL didn't take higher denomination into effect for activation if two recharges done on same day?

    Due to technical limitations, the latest voucher only will comes into effective for BSNL prepaid mobile number.

    If done twice, then the available freebies of both BSNL vouchers will continue upto their expiry.

  4. What will happen If i recharge one type of data STV to my number and with in 1 hour my brother activated another combo plan?

    The freebies will credit as per the data STV plan and validity, at the same time extra freebies as per the BSNL combo plan may also credits to the account with another validity.

  5. Can i go for BSNL wrong recharge reversal process if done twice?

    BSNL wrong recharge reversal process allows only for TOP UP Value Amount in multiples of 10 only.

    If I recharge with 105 rs plan. I get 22 days free and then next 38 days I need to recharge, If I recharge 50 rs and do not use it for 38 days, Will the 50 rs remain or expire?

Hii Sir, I have taken a new sim and I had activated with a recharge of 153 rupees, So my question is if I recharged now with another pack of 1098 which includes unlimited data for 84 days, So will it be activated so that I can use both packs at the same time for I have to wait for this month’s end to complete my first recharge then do the second one?

Can’t BSNL, say straightforward that if STV recharge is mistakenly done twice, it neither would return the excess voucher amount nor it would carry forward the recharge amount to the next consecutive period, Plain and simple, Instead it sheepishly states that only the higher or latest recharge voucher would be applicable and constantly remains silent of the extra recharge done mistakenly. And the company bosses laments the facilities of 4G are not provided to them for level playing ground with private players. When simple mistake of your customer cannot be addressed by you, the govt is justified enough that make you remain dwarf as compared to other players in the business.

    • The latest recharge will be in active, but the freebies if any credited can be used as per the validity of each pack.

Hello sir I am already recharged BSNL data pack 98rs for 2GB data for 22 days and 56Rs for 1.5GB data for 14 days, but now I want to recharge 198 pack if I recharge this 198 pack today means this, I get 2GB per day for 52 days, now my question is if I recharge today means what happens to previous recharge of 98 and 56 data pack.

I did a prepaid mobile recharge of 550 (extra talk time) of Odisha circle through google pay, and It was not showing me the plan expiry date, so assumed it as unlimited plan, it happened on 25th March 2020, after recharge I got a message that the plan expiry date is on 24th march 2020, one day earlier that the current date. Now no out going call from my mobile, let me know, will i get the plan benefit or my money will be reverted back to my account.

    • Dial *123# and check your balance, if not available means, please complain to Google Pay for refund.
      Talktime or Top Up will not extend the validity, so recharge with any plan voucher through migration or plan extension option available in BSNL Online Recharge portal or with My BSNL App.

    • We think 1098 is an STV, so that you are getting the plan details of 107 when checks for plan details, any how please call customer care for clarification on your number and plan details

    • Once the validity of your data plan under 108 which is of 28days or something is expired the data plan of 1098 will be activated automatically and always remember it is bsnl the most bogus a fraud company and I wish its employees are thrown out like a dead bug from the house, they are the most useless people on earth and are the main reason for losses that BSNL is making otherwise bsnl has the best plan ever and can beat any telecom but Alas! Its lazy and stupid employees they are the reason for downfall of this organization, They could have easy fix the problem of double recharge like other telecoms which gives you option to active the plan of your recharged amount whenever you want and if not then BSNL could just simply activate the last recharged voucher but nooooooo these $$holes keep the previous plan active and you money for the present plan goes for a toss.

  34. If I recharged Rs.429/- for 81 days and by mistake again recharge Rs 499/- for 90 days,then my validity for 90 days or 90+81=171 days. kindly clarify.

    • The latest recharge pack 499 validity will comes into effect, but when comes to freebies, both the usages are effective as per their validities 81/90.
