As we all know that, BSNL has recently migrated all the existing 2G Data subscribers to 3G Data Services with no speed restriction for Internet Data and elaboration of 3G persisting with transition of time, on the eve of Independence Day of India. BSNL heralded extreme and rigorous diminution in 3G Data Services on promoting the business and offering more services to customers.
Many Customers of Prepaid and Postpaid Mobile Services are in confusion about their high speed data services, if the high speed data is applicable to their 2G Plans or not, for all these more confusions, BSNL mobile subscribers has to be clarified as follows
- At present all BSNL SIMs are 3G SIMs. The distinction about 3G and 2G is made while creating a number in the BSNL database as of 14-08-2013, from 15-08-2013 BSNL has migrated all prepaid and postpaid mobile number customers as 3G users.
- All SIMs having memory of 16K, 32K, 64K, 128K or 256K can be configured as 3G and work with performance at par, The SIM with memory capacity of 128K or 256K are needed in few cases where the use of SIM is required to be made for M2M kind of communication needing large size of application to reside inside SIM.
So, by this new migration done by BSNL, all mobile customers has allowed to enjoy the internet speed with 3G Data Services if they are in 3G Coverage area, even they use 2G SIM Card.
BSNL redeveloped its lasting Prepaid Data Tariff by enabling all the subscribers with 3G DATA facility, which will be in force from 15th August 2013 and Postpaid DATA structure from 01-09-2013 with no speed restriction for Data.
BSNL has already providing PAN India Free Roaming for data services, and also by this new introduction of new uniform Prepaid and Postpaid Data Packs at lowest rates, will helps the customer to download and surf the internet with high speed data and having no restriction for data in Home area or in Roaming across the country.
