  5. I have got BSNL FTTH-CC1A last week, It works well day time for voice and Internet but it automatically switches off around 11pm and switches on at 6:00am, People who installed it have no clue how to solve the problem, Please guide and help.

  8. Hai sir, I am using the BSNL FTTH 400GB CS95 plan for the past 1 month in Andhra Pradesh, Chittoor district. My problems are
    1) I am unable to use a youtube mobile on android. But I got to see youtube web it’s working barely.
    2) when I connect in wifi mode, Wifi symbol with the exclaimed symbol but background network running, Its really strange.
    3) my router name is Netlink. Kindly please provide a solution ASAP. Thank you.

I have taken ffth BSNL, Now this the 5th month still i am not getting voice, When i call BSNL, they will say your local cable operator has to configure voip, When i call them they said that it is BSNL job. My BSNL no. 0497 296 6794 which is no use. Can any one guide me voip configuration netlink. BSNL Kannur Kerala.

  15. Sir after so long comment & replay can anyone notice why is BSNL so, as it was the best landline & broadband provider but after the launch of FTTH it has become simply outward,
    1.Lack of employees issue
    2.BSNL making way to JIO GIGA FIBER
    3.Though BSNL staff willing to do work, something is not letting them do work.
    Conclude with RIP BSNL, DOB JIO.

      Can you please share me Jammu VoIP details. I am frustrated from bsnl complaint raised and it’s one-month over no one responded, All 8th standard failed guys working in their call centers who don’t even understand your concern.

      • No its not working for me as well since i took connection 2 months back. It always registering . I know setting as it have worked for few i guess. If you search everywhere on internet for voip setting , they will tell to keep static for voice but recently BSNL had discontinued that process i guess .So follow this maybe it will work for you.
        In Network section where you configure voice , Just select DHCP in place of STATIC ( Mode:Route,Ipv4,DHCP, Enable VLAN , Vlan ID try1830 or 1831, null, MTU:1500, Request DNS: Enable ; Service mode: Voice ; Select Turn off Lan DHCP (for voice profile only not for internet ); Save . Go to Application :VOIP ; Select Soft switch SIP; SIP Reg. address : 10.187.1.12; All ports will have value 5060 as default : keep as it is; Reg expire (sec) 3600 all places; enable session timer at all places ; session expire 1800 all place ; Enable Line 1 ; account no. and name same : 911912XXXXXX (use 91 in place of 0 and then your landline no. as in bill eg. 0191-2XXXXXX ; then enter as above ). Try password : same as account no. 911912XXXXXX or try 2XXXXXX(without std code). save. Check status :wan info if voice profile status is UP . Also keep SIP : Enable in application. Go to diagnose : enter IP: 10.187.1.12 and Wan interface voice; check if there is no packet loss. For me everything is up for voice ; but it always says registering and also when i call landline no. from mobile it says no. doesn’t exits.

          Mode: Route
          IP protocol mode: ip4 or same as internet
          Disable Request DNS.
          Primary DNS: 172.30.249.3
          Secondary DNS: 172.30.249.19
          Service mode: Voice
          Leave blank for “Turn of LAN DHCP” (Do not enable)

          This worked for me while troubleshooting. No support from customer care or third party contract installers. Hope this works for you all. Thanks.

    Please tell me how to disable “AP-isolation” in the above BSNL ONT, problem is that I have the Google Chromecast device, which is not able to set up, in the last moment of setting up the Google Home mobile app says ” Please disable the AP isolation option in your router ” without this, both of the devices can’t communicate over wifi, I have logged in, to my ONT’s web setting but can’t find any particular AP disable option there. Whereas my Google Chromecast is working flawlessly with my all old routers like Jiofi and old TP-link ADSL router. Please help me, I will be grateful.

  27. I have my BSNL FTTH connection through a local cable operator and he says his equipment will not support voice and I will not be getting voice. Can that be correct? If so I can quit trying. I have done everything as mentioned here but still, VOIP Info and Service State say Registering. Could you please help.

BSNL has given Optronix WIFI EPON ONT, It working fine, But issue is Keep on rebooting every 60 min or if We start browsing its automatically rebooting, I have raised a request and they changed the new one, But still the same issue with the new one also, can anyone suggest what might be the problem.

    Have anyone tried URL filtering option via Web Manager? I was able to find the option to enable a blacklisted URL list under Security > WAN Access. However, none of the filters seems to be working. For example, I tried adding
    – https:// www. facebook.com/
    – facebook. com

    etc. However, still, Facebook is accessible from all connected devices. Could someone help me with what I’m doing wrong with router configuration?

    • Hi, I Also facing the same issue, I tried to set the URL filter in many ways, But still the the Filtered site is accessible through Wifi, How can I block a particular Wifi using Netlink(Model Number:IGD) modem?

My office internal websites are not accessible when connected via VPN, The same were accessible with any other broadband or hotspots, N/w guys have tested the VPN firewall and they are not blocking any IP’s, They say it have to be the router configuration, Can someone help get this done, Any help will be much appreciated.

  42. I have tried to change the wifi user name and password, It’s getting changed only until next restart, when I restart it’s getting changed to previous one, which was configured by the BSNL officer.

  43. I got the Syro tech ONU installed yesterday, The connection was active and the technician connected by android mobile (Oneplus 6) to the wifi, gave me the wifi password, checked the connection speed (which was about 60 Mbps – 1277 plan) and left.
    I have been trying to connect the other devices at home and none of them can access internet from the connection. I tried with Iphone 11, PS4, Ipad, chromebook and the Smart TV, all of them connect to the router but with no internet connectivity. Meanwhile my Oneplus mobile connects seamlessly and shows good download and upload speeds,
    I connected a different WiFi router (TP link Archer) to the LAN port and tried connecting other devices. Except for Oneplus, no other phone is able to access internet. Spoke to the person who installed the device and he has no clue.
    Can anyone help me?

      Myself also have the same problem, Earlier, voice call (phone) not working but internet working fine with wifi facility to Laptop, Desk top, Android Mobiles of various brands. Day before yesterday when contacted BSNL person for the voice call issue, he attended and rectified the phone issue, But, now i am not able to connect any of the above said devices through wifi, Internet is available with wired connection (LAN Cable), Again contacted the same BSNL person, he replied that it is due to ont issue and it can be solved by changing ont, If you get any information, please inform me also at the email id provided below, Thanks.

  45. All incoming calls on this ONT disconnects/drops after 9.27 minute, Firmware provided by manufacturer upgraded but still issue not resolved.

    • I add dyndns configuration with necessary details like hostname, user and password, after that i complete the details while i select the okay button it shows the following error “ILLEGAL User Name”. The above said hostname and user details worked fine in another modem. Kindly guide me how to configure.

    • Hi Pavan,

      Once you login to the page go to “Network” >> WLAN >> WLAN Security.
      on this page you will find “Pre-Shared Key” which you can update with your desired password and Apply the changes.
