BSNL Safe Custody Plan for LandLine (Broadband) Phone Services introduced by our telecom backbone applicable for all the customers of BSNL Rural Plans and BSNL Urban Landline services. Safe custody services are applicable for the customers, who do not intend to use their Fixed line(Landline) phone connection for more than three months period and want to ensure that their line is not misused in their absence, can avail the Safe Custody Plan.
BSNL safe custody plan will be available at very nominal charges at Rs. 50/- per month for Urban areas and Rs. 30/- per month for Rural areas, where the charges will be paid in advance. BSNL Landline phone connection which is inactive status and will be disabled at the customer end of the period of safe custody and this facility shall not be applicable for all Broadband Services too.
The telephone number will be retained and will be restored after the period of expiry on the request of LandLine customer. The minimum period of safe custody for LandLine telephone will be three months and this above mentioned BSNL safe custody charges will be applicable with effect from 05-05-2009.
PSU does not bills any BSNL Landline Safe custody deposit charges. This is only a special free facility for their users to keep their line alive. BSNL Landline / Broadband customer who wishes to keep their landline services under Safe custody to avoid disconnection from BSNL shall approach the concerned BSNL authorities. Submit written request at any time for activation of BSNL Safe Custody Plan.
