  1. I am using BSNL broadband and Airtel 4g on my laptop. Whenever I am on BSNL broadband and try to log in websites (mostly business websites of industries and companies in B to B domain) annoyingly first BSNL ad pops up and 4 to 5 websites prop up (mostly looks like adware or maybe malware). I found out first it gets the name of “netpatas”.
This is very annoying and also worried whether the BSNL network is compromised.
This do not happen when I am on Airtel 4G network, also in our company we have BSNL FTTH there also some times this problem is seen even though we have a firewall, Others are also requested to share if they are getting similar issues. As I am using Mcafee antivirus and endpoint support have scanned multiple times. Also used windows firewall and other malware scanners. NOwhere it shows my system is infected. Also, request BSNL to see into this issue very seriously. especially of “Netpatas”
