Check your BSNL data plan carefully, because if a customer recharge with Plan 429, he/she will gets the data facility upto 81 days only as per the tariff, but having plan validity of 180 days, In that case, it is restored only after successful recharge with any plan/STV.

My BSNL mobile always connecting with ‘E’ signal even having 3G tower in our area, what to do?

Data signal E denotes EDGE, and if a customer selects Auto mode in mobile data network settings, then the network connects to the signal E or H as per the availability of data traffic at that time

The solution is, try to avoid Auto Mode and connect with Only 3G or Only WCDMA or Only LTE (if 4G network available) mode.

  • For iOS devices: Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Enable 4G > Turn on Voice & Data
  • For Android handsets: Settings > Settings > Mobile Network > Network mode or Preferred network type LTE/WCDMA/GSM (AUTO)

What to do if not getting data facility, even having data facility, APN’s, and selected only 3G mode?

  • Just select BSNL SIM to provide mobile data in your handset
  • Open Mobile settings > SIM Card Manager > Mobile data (Select BSNL SIM).

Some of the customers were selected another SIM (other than BSNL data SIM) for the provision of data, so the mobile handset is not allowed the 3G/4G internet and generates the data connecting issue.

  2. It means your area is not covered with bsnl 3G/4G network so that your movie is connecting with 2G (E) services even you are having 4G SIM. so.please escalate that problem is network please not work adding 9385709515

  4. Purchase any plan but bank is not bothered any customers. This is a very bad practice up to date.
    Actually what is the problem with a reputable firm under government of India.
    As an assumption we the people are unhappy about this situation.
    The responsibility should keep not only in words but in actions required.
    Officials who are responsible may change their mind and come with strong and useful determination.
    In Kerala bsnl poor performance is very badly affecting the election campaign which I have noticed. Whenever elections declared bsnl starts its bad performance. This is a treat for country.

Hii I have ported from BSNL 3G sim to idea 4G sim, I got an idea 4g sim and it is not activated now, After done this procedure I got a message that Dear customer your request due to POA/POI image is not clear, Please contact your point of sale again, Now after getting this message I am not clear that my BSNL 3G sim is already ported or not, So tell me any procedure so that I can get clear information that whats happening in the sim.

  11. Don’t waste and time to purchase BSNL SIM. Please don’t think BSNL is work in your area.
    If BSNL 4G available in your area then you can think about to buy but if in your area 4g is not available then don’t buy.

  12. UNLIMITED PLAN 1098 or 1099 BSNL NOT WORKING.
    This is a very important helpful information to those who have recharged their BSNL SIM with unlimited Plan of 1098 or 1099( depends on circle) and yet not able to access the unlimited speed even the problem sometimes or mainly is that we have another data plan is active when we recharged our SIM with unlimited and now after 1 or 2GB the speed goes down.

    To resolve this problem you should file a grievance immediately @
    210.212.70.157/pgs/internet/pgwebregn.asp

    and remember there should be no special characters while you type your issue, and mainly type like

    I recharged my SIM with 1098 unlimited data plan but after 1 GB I am unable to use data.

    and hardly withing 2 or 3 days your issue will be resolved, you may check your grievance status by searching google on bsnl site.

  13. My sim is 4G but working as 2G and 3G and a lot of network problem is there, It says unlimited data and speed reduces to 40 kb/sec after 2GB but net speed is too low.

  14. I am recharge 1098 STV unlimited data and voice pack but it suffering 2g speed, very bad experience having BSNL, now I think their is no body to help customers solved this problem, 10 time I call customer care and share own problems but they unknown about this issue, waste money and time.

  18. I have charged mobile on 22/12/2019 with ATM 666 it is valid for 134 days, Today on 24/3/2020 it showed validity expires on 24/3/2020, I think it is wrong because 134 days not completed, Kindly guide in this matter & take appropriate action.

I have taken 4g sim card and also having 4G smartphone, but i am not getting 4G internet speed, it is only showing only H+, and unable to connect to customer care multiple times, I have to call Multiple times to the cx care because the customer care people like(Uday Kumar, who is cx support DISCONNECTS THE CALL WHEN CX IS ASKING A QUESTION AND WHEN CX IS ON THE CALL) VERY BAD CX SUPPORT BY BSNL.

    • It means your area is not covered with BSNL 3G/4G network, so that your mobile is connecting with 2G (E) services even you are having 4G SIM, so please escalate the problem to higher authority of BSNL through facebook, twitter or public grievance monitoring system.
